History
Convite Mezcal Joven Espadin Madrecuishe is crafted as the leading Mezcal in Oaxaca and born from a 100% Oaxacan project. This exceptional spirit is produced from a blend of wild Espadin agaves, which mature for eight years, and wild Madrecuishe agaves, aged for thirteen years. The meticulous production process takes place in a single Palenque, where the agaves are cooked in traditional underground stone ovens. They are then ground using a Tahona stone, which helps to extract maximum flavor from the agaves. The mezcal undergoes natural fermentation in wooden vats, allowing the flavors to develop further, and is double distilled in a copper pot to achieve its distinctive character and smoothness. This dedication to traditional methods and local ingredients ensures that each bottle of Convite Mezcal encapsulates the rich heritage and artisanal craftsmanship of Oaxaca.
